I cannot disassemble my Patio Umbrella Base

If you’re having trouble disassembling your Baser patio umbrella base, make sure that the product is not frozen together or jammed with sand or other material. Then, pour warm soapy water over the base and try again. 

If the ring won’t come up, we recommend the following:

• Use a little liquid soap to lubricate the inside parts of the locking ring that directly touch the legs of the base.
• If it’s still stuck, pour warm soapy water over the base. When the composite material warms, it should loosen the ring.
