What type of sand should I use? Does it have to be sand?

We get this question often: Do I need special sand? No, just get the cheapest you can find.

The type of sand doesn’t affect how well the product works.

Wet or dry sand? It doesn’t make a huge difference, but dry sand is easier to handle—just avoid adding sand that’s too wet.

Yes, wet sand is heavier, but the hassle of filling sandbags with wet sand isn’t worth it :D

Some customers have also used gravel or similar materials. However, you’ll get the best stability with sand.
